Wow, wow, WOW!! That’s how I felt when I read the last word of this book… My emotions were on a roller-coaster from the very beginning with amazing highs, heartbreaking lows and so many feelings in between. Enshrine is a wonderful, heart-wrenching, enlightening, life-affirming story. Callie and Bruno take us all on an incredible journey.
Chelle’s writing style and character development is beyond amazing. This is one of those books you can’t be put down.
I’ve been a fan since I read the first “Men of Inked” book and saw just what a gifted writer Chelle is. She has the ability to craft stories that have layer-upon-layer and you can’t wait to see what she does with these amazing people she creates. The attention to the detail, the development of characters and the relationships in each book is nothing short of extraordinary.
As for Enshrine, you can’t just read this is book, you live it, experience it, feel it. This is a beautiful love story, but completely gut-wrenching as well. It’s unlike anything I’ve read from Chelle before, but it is so awesomely well-written. As heart breaking as it was, this is a story that left me having an ‘ugly cry’, and it will stay with me for a very long time.
Be prepared to be wowed, engaged, to have your heart hurt, your faith challenged and then reborn and your wonder of life explode….. “The appreciation for the light can never come without the darkness. It’s a metaphor for my life.” (Callie)
